These are the personal letters from Colonel Thomas O’Connor Blakeney to his wife Mary Pearl “Girlie” Carville Blakeney. Colonel Blakeney served as a Tank Battalion Executive Officer in WWII and went on to serve his country during war and peace until his retirement in 1969.
