Poetry Month

Visit the SMC Library and Celebrate!  For Poetry Month, come to the library to create a blackout poem using old books. 

The Academy of American Poets started National Poetry Month in April of 1996.  It celebrates poets' important role in our culture and that poetry matters.  Since its beginning, it has become the largest literary celebration in the world.
