Resources for Writing an Annotated Bibliography

Annotated bibliographies are just a list of sources followed by a short summary - in most cases. Sometimes, an assignment might ask you to explain how you will use that source in a paper or you may be asked to describe the strengths or weaknesses of a source.

It is very important that you format each citation fully and correctly in the assigned style. This would either be MLA or APA, in most cases.

Below each citation, include the short summary or other text your instructor has asked you to include.

Put your sources in alphabetical order by the author's last name.
